Dear Parents and Students,
1.
Tuesday's Rehearsal Moved to Friday
Because of the
inclement weather, lightning, tornado and flash flood warnings in
the area, we have decided to move today's rehearsal to Friday
afternoon 3:30-6:00. We do our best to not alter the calendar
as published, however sometimes we have to make adjustments due to
things out of our control. Weather is one of those things.
If we ever have to adjust the week's rehearsal schedule due to rain,
we will let you know as quickly as possible.
2.
Private Lesson Forms Due
All students
were given private lesson forms last week. Please make sure
your child returns a form signed by you whether or not he or she is
taking lessons. We want to make sure every parent has the
opportunity to take advantage of the lesson program that CCISD
provides.
3.
Orlando Trip
Today was the
last day to sign up for the trip to Orlando. Anyone who adds
after today will be placed on a waiting list and will only be added
to the trip if someone cancels.
4.
School-Owned Instruments
Instrument Loan
Contracts will go out this week. Every student who uses a
school-owned instrument is required to pay a $100.00 rental fee ($50
per semester). Also, should your school-owned instrument need
repair, you need to contact the band office before taking it to be
repaired. You will be responsible for paying for the repairs
if you do not get approval from Mr. Williams or Ms. Carter prior to
taking it to the shop.
