TASTE OF THE TOWN – SAVE THE DATE
Save the Date! The Clear Springs High School Charger Band Booster Club would like to cordially invite you to our 6th annual Taste of the Town and Silent Auction on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Taste of the Town is a family-oriented community event that will take place in conjunction with the Charger Band’s solo recital. Local restaurants will showcase their signature dishes for guests to sample, giving participants an opportunity to get a “taste of the town.” Invite friends, family, and coworkers to an evening of food and music, and help support our students’ music education.
The holiday season is in full swing, and we are asking that you consider picking up items to help fill some of our auction baskets for our silent auction. 100% of the proceeds will go to support our kids and the band program, your donations count! You can help by:
- Donating an item listed below
- Asking your employer to donate an item and/or make a monetary donation
- Making a monetary donation
- Purchasing tickets to the Taste of the Town and inviting friends and family
The basket themes are as follows:
- Trumpets: Gift Cards (any amount to any store or restaurant)
- Flutes: Go ‘Stros! (any Astros memorabilia)
- Percussion: Let’s go to the movies (theater gift cards, candy, snacks, movies, etc.)
- Tubas and Euphoniums: Coffee Lovers (coffee, mugs, any item with fun sayings, etc.)
- Trombones: Texans (all things Texans)
- Clarinets: BBQ/Tailgating (bbq tools, bbq cookbooks, aprons, coolers, koozies, etc.)
- French Horns: Music Lovers (anything music related)
- Saxophones: Everything Teen (phone accessories, iTunes, snacks, candy, wall stickers, etc.)
- Double Reeds: Everything Chocolate
- Color Guard: Everything Spa
All donations can be sent to school with your child. If you prefer, a monetary donation can be made. Please label ALL donations with student name, instrument, and Taste of the Town (TOTT).
