TASTE OF THE TOWN REMINDERS
The Taste of the Town Committee needs your help! The 6th Annual Taste of the Town is just around the corner and time is running out! Tickets are on sale now online in the Booster Club Store or in person on Monday, 2/26, outside the band hall after rehearsal. Tickets will not be sold at the door, so don’t miss out!
The instrument groups are competing with each other for most items donated and the basket that sells for the highest amount at auction. Please send in your silent auction contributions no later than Thursday, March 1st. The basket themes are as follows:
- Flutes: Go ‘Stros!
- Clarinets: BBQ/Tailgating
- Double Reeds: Chocolate Lovers
- Saxophones: Everything Teen (phone accessories, iTunes, snacks, candy, wall stickers, etc.)
- Trumpets: Gift Cards
- French Horns: Music Lovers
- Trombones: Texans
- Tubas and Euphoniums: Coffee Lovers
- Percussion: Let’s Go to the Movies
- Color Guard: Spa
All donations can be sent to school with your child. If you prefer, a monetary donation can be made. Please label ALL donations with student name, instrument, and Taste of the Town (TOTT).
