Flowers Worth a Thousand Words

Show your favorite performers how much you appreciate all their hard work by presenting them with flowers after their performance/s. Roses will be available as you enter the PAC at the Spring Concert.  To ensure availability, you may also contact Daisy Dunklee to reserve yours in advance, and pick them up at the concert when you drop off your donation: dadunkle@yahoo.com. Please contact Daisy no later than Monday, 5/13, for reserved roses! Recommended donation is a minimum $3 per flower. This is a charming way you can help support the band and brighten a students evening at the same time!

CSHS Drumline Car Wash Fundraiser

I don’t know about you, but my car is COVERED with pollen! And this rain will NOT wash it all away. But you know what will? The car washers at the Clear Springs Drumline Car Wash Fundraiser! Join us from 9:00-1:00 THIS SATURDAY, April 27th, AutoZone and help raise some money for these terrific kids! Come help wash or just come hang out. Lots of bodies draw the eyes of passers-by. Tell everyone where they can go for a car wash and a good cause!

PLEASE SHARE this post! Help us spread the word about the upcoming 2nd annual Clear Springs High School Band Mattress Fundraiser Sunday November 11th, from noon-6pm, in the Clear Springs High School cafeteria!

There will be an entire mattress store set up in the CSHS cafeteria on Sunday, November 11th, from 12pm-6pm. This Fundraiser is ONE DAY ONLY!!! Come in and try them out! You will sleep like a BABY knowing you got a GREAT DEAL on a GREAT BED and helped support the CSHS Band!

If you want to support our Mattress Fundraiser, but are stretched a bit thin, consider one of the easy, no credit needed financing options! Every purchase supports the Program! Do not put off buying the bed you want and need just because you don’t have the money today!

Need to buy a mattress for a relative? Have a summer or winter home in another state? We ship anywhere in the 48 states! We also have custom sizes to fit any bed!

Popcornopolis

Welcome to our gourmet popcorn fundraiser from Popcornopolis! These products make great gifts and are equally welcome as everyday snacks. Ask a band student for an order form or download and print a Popcornopolis order form here.  Be sure to write the student’s name and organization (CSHS Charger Band)  on the top of your order form.

Orders are due  Wednesday, 11/7, with payment.

Please collect money when taking orders. NOTE: Checks payable to CSHSBB only please. Do not send cash! Please write a check for any cash received. If you must send cash, please contact Alicia McConnell to make arrangements for drop off (713-261-8866 or Alicia.mcconnell@me.com). There is no need to collect sales tax. Promote to family, friends, coworkers & social-media circle to maximize sales. Thank you for participating!

Buy-Out Option

For those who do not have the time or the resources to participate, we have a buy-out option. The buy-out cost is a minimum contribution of $60. Send payment in an envelope labeled “Popcorn Fundraiser Buy Out”. Be sure to include the student’s name.

SAVE THE DATE! MATTRESS SALE

That’s right, the Charger Band will be selling mattresses again! We will have great name brands like Simmons Beautyrest priced below retail with floor models for you to test out, just like that store front up the road, only cheaper! So don’t go buy one yet and tell all your friends to wait. Mark your calendar for our Mattress Fundraiser on Sunday, November 11 and head to Clear Springs to support the band!

There will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, October 9, at 7:30 in the PAC (Performing Arts Center=auditorium) at the start of the booster club meeting. Come hear what all the hype is about!

Who wants to win a $150 cooling pillow? 
The fundraising company will be giving away one pillow for every 50 people who text BEDS4 CLEARSPRINGS to 474747.
Please share the information with friends and family.  The more texts, the more free pillows to be given away.  Pillows will be given away at the parent meeting and you must be present to win.

Rock-a-thon is Almost Here!

On Saturday, August 18, the Charger Band students will converge on the CSHS cafeteria at 8:30am with rocking chairs for our first big fundraiser of the year!

Prizes abound at this event and our top fundraising Charger Band Student will be taking home the grand prize of $100 Fancloth Gift Certificate!

The fundraising goal is for every Charger Band member to hit the $250 mark so we can fund all the wonderful programs we have for our band students. All students who hit the $250 mark for Rock-a-thon donations and pledges will earn a Charger Band Fanny Pack in addition to earning free lunch and tickets for the prize drawings!!!!

The Rock-a-thon committee has a few donation needs. If you are able to donate any of these items, please send them to the director’s office in the band hall.

  • Card stock (for sponsor thank you notes)
  • Invitation envelopes (for sponsor thank you notes)
  • Mailing stamps(for sponsor thank you notes)
  • Candy or fun things that can be used as game prizes
  • Fruit by the foot
  • 4 Sleeping bags to borrow

Chick-fil-a lunch orders for Rock-a-thon will be confirmed/taken at check in. If your student has special dietary needs, please let the Rock-a-thon committee know as soon as possible so they can arrange for special lunch to be available for your student. Also, concessions will be available at the event, so please send your student with some pocket change for snacks.

All parents are invited to join the fun from 3-3:25 for our wrap up events: Director 20 questions, special surprise and big reveal! The Rock-a-thon committee is asking for donations of cookies for refreshments for wrap up time.

The “After Party” is scheduled for Monday, September 3, from 10:30am-12:30am at Fun City Sk8. Cost for entry to the After Party is $5 pre-sale $7 at the door and covers skate rental! There will be food tickets sold at the rink for $5. This will get 2 slices of pizza and a drink. This is a family event. Parents and siblings are welcome!!!

Our winning section with the highest $ average per student in the section will receive free After Party entry!

Parents can sign up to chaperone for Rock-a-thon and/or the After Party on Charms. All hands are welcome and it’s fun!
